Hi everyone, my family and I will be travelling to WDW in March. I have 5yr old twins and am wondering about the photo pass. Is it worth it and if so how does it work? Also what is the difference between the photo CD and photo pass +? Thanks

    Hello, Naomi,

If you click here, you can read in detail what Disney's PhotoPass Service is, but essentially it is a service that offers guests the opportunity to have professional photographers take pictures of you and your family/friends throughout the parks. You can view all the photos either at Walt Disney World or once you return home, and there is no obligation to have to purchase any of them.

We prefer to order the PhotoCD prior to our trips (you can do so by clicking here) because it can be purchased at a discount. You can take as many photos as you like then edit them to add a splash of Disney fun once you are home. I have found this a much better deal for us with being to print photos at home rather through Disney's PhotoPass. The photographers will also use your camera if you'd like.

PhotoPass+ allows you to add photos from character dining (1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana, Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Chef Mickey's Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House, Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, and Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall) and on-ride attractions (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Dinosaur).  If you plan on dining at many of those locations and/or riding the attractions listed, it might be a worthwhile investment for you.  You can pre-order this at a discount by clicking here

Thank you for your question; please let us know if we can help again.
