    Hello everyone, my family and friends and I are going to Walt Disney World in July. I just purchased the tickets. Do they send the cards in the mail? Or do we get those at the gate? Because not everyone wants a MaggicBand

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question!

    Hooray for planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Visiting the Theme Parks with family and friends makes it all even more magical! You’re going to be making enchanting memories together at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    When you purchase Theme Park tickets separately on the website or by phone, ticket cards are either mailed or you would opt to pick them up at Will Call. Not all Guests would have to have a MagicBand to use in the Parks. When you purchase a MagicBand, you can link it to your My Disney Experience account and use that or the ticket card in the park. It depends on what you opted for at the time of purchase: to have them mailed to you or pick up the tickets at Will Call. Regardless of what you chose, you can visit a ticket window at all the Theme Parks to pick up your cards. 

    You should have received a confirmation number with 4 letters followed by 8 numbers. This confirmation number is what should be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Because your confirmation numbers should be linked, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections when it is time. Guests with valid theme park admission can make FastPasses 30 days in advance beginning at 7:00 a.m. EST. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney Springs Area hotels, or other select nearby hotels may begin making FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance.

    If somehow you do not find your My Disney Experience account linked with your tickets, you should call and speak with a Cast Member at the Internet Help Desk. They can be reached at 407-939-7765 and are available 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST, all week.  They will be happy to help you get it all sorted out!

    I hope you’re looking into purchasing the Memory Maker to document all the precious moments you all will have together! They make the most wonderful souvenirs of the vacation. My family and I still go through ours and reminisce about all the fun we had!
