Hello Everyone. Can I use Disney gift cards to pay for hotel rooms? I get gift card incentives through work and would like to use Disney for our trip.

    Hi Suzann!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Yes, you definitely can use Disney Gift Cards to pay for rooms at a Disney Resort Hotel. They are a fantastic way to save up (I like to buy a few here and there throughout the year) for an upcoming visit. You will need a credit card when booking your Disney Resort Hotel room but after you have arrived, you can pay off your room with Disney Gift Cards by visiting the front desk and applying them to your account. Another thing I like to do is to have my family charge things directly to their MagicBands while we are at the Parks and that night, I take Disney Gift Cards to the front desk to pay my bill for the day. I would definitely advise you to take advantage of any discounted ways to buy them if you can. I love the feeling of paying with Disney Gift Cards--for some reason it feels like it is a less expensive trip since we have already purchased them. I love it!

Please come back if there is anything we can do to help you with your planning. Here's to a magical Walt Disney World visit.

    Have a wonderful day!
