Hi there, Daniel! Welcome to planDisney!
As the parent of a child with special needs, I appreciate how
Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone. Since every person's needs are different, I recommend reaching out to the Disability Services Cast Members to discuss your specific situation. You can contact a Cast Member via email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is intended for Guests who, due to a disability, cannot wait in a traditional queue environment. Typically, Guests who have
mobility disabilities are able to wait in
attraction queues by using a wheelchair or electric conveyance vehicle (ECV)/scooter. Therefore, a
wheelchair or ECV rental is often suggested as an accommodation for Guests who have mobility needs. However, since you also experience anxiety, this should be taken into consideration when determining the services that best fit your needs. The Disability Services Cast Members are wonderful at making sure Guests receive the accommodations that will help them enjoy the Walt Disney World theme parks to their fullest. Simply reach out to them via email and they will be able to help you arrange the services that are right for your own unique needs.
Daniel, if there's anything else my fellow
planDisney panelists and I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask. I hope you have the most magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation ever!
Samantha
