Hi everyone, does anybody know if there are days of the week on which each park is more crowded than others? We are planning to go to DW on 27 dec until 06 jan, 4 days tickets with hopper and staying at all stars. Thanks!

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Generally crowd patterns are as follows:  weekends tend to be the busiest at the four Walt Disney World theme parks, followed by Thursdays and Fridays.  Weekends also tend to create the biggest crowds at Downtown Disney and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks.

However, typically, Christmas through New Year's Day can be the busiest time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort and the usual crowd patterns probably will not apply.

The first week of January after New Year's Day will usually be much less crowded and would be a good time to make the most of your days at the theme parks.

I would recommend checking the calendars for the theme parks (usually published around six months in advance) to see when the Extra Magic Hours are operating, and would therefore give you some extra time at the parks, with lesser crowds.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
