Does everybody on the trip have to be a dvc member? Or could my wife and I go with another couple on adventures by Disney Germany ,us dvc members and them not?

    Hi Teri,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I am glad to hear that you are thinking of the many ways to use your Disney Vacation Club membership. Heading on an Adventures by Disney trip to Germany sounds fantastic!

I spoke with a wonderful cast member at Disney Vacation Club member services today, who gave me some great information about booking this trip. Yes, you can book a trip for both yourself and your wife, as well as your non-Disney Vacation Club member friends. You will need to convert your Vacation Points to Reservation Points in order to book an Adventures by Disney Trip. One Vacation Point is equivalent to one Reservation Point. Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 can help you with this.

You can book your Adventure by Disney through Disney Vacation Club as long as you are booking at least one person using Reservation Points. You can choose to book one person using Reservation Points and the rest with cash or credit card, or two with Reservation Points and the rest with cash or credit card, or any combination, as long as you are using Reservation Points for at least one member of your party. You cannot split one person between Reservation Points and cash or credit card; each person must be paid in total by one method. You are welcome to use your Reservation Points for your non-Disney Vacation Club member friends as well.  If you are not planning to use Reservation Points, that is, if you are using all cash or credit card for your whole party, you need to contact Adventures by Disney directly at 1-800-543-0865 to book your trip. Do be sure to tell them that you are a Disney Vacation Club member to get the pricing appropriate for Disney Vacation Club members.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Teri! Have a wonderful time planning your magical trip, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
