Hi everybody and thanks for yourhelp, i am a single french mum with 2 children ; I have booked POR standard room for july2014. but can I choose my section ? and if so, what would you suggest me as it's my 1st time in wdw , with no car.and quite afraid !

    Hello Isabelle!

Congratulations on planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! Don't be afraid! We are here to help you! You will also find many friendly Cast Members willing to help you when you arrive and throughout your stay! Disney's Port Orleans Resort is a great choice! You will find the green lush gardens very relaxing! The Port Orleans Riverside Resort is a big resort which offers many different room options, which can be tricky to decipher. You can request a section but keep in mind that some sections cost more and you will need to book that specific room type or area. If you are looking for a room close to the main building or food court, you will need to book a "Preferred" room. These tend to run $10-$20 more per night but you will have a room in a section closer to the food locations and transportation. If you would like to be closer to the pool, I would recommend that you reserve a "pool view" room as you can make special requests but they are not guaranteed. Since you have already made your reservation, I would call 1-407-939-5277 and speak with a Cast Member. They can help you reserve the perfect room to suite your wishes!
