Hello everybody! I have a question regarding Christmas time? We were at Disney in October, 2011; first time with our 11 yr old and 13 yr old. Now we are booked again for December 2014 for 10 days. How crazy is it during Christmas Vacation??

    Hi Jennifer Rose!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am happy to hear you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, it is truly magical!  Christmas time is usually very busy, it seems like everyone wants to spend their holidays with Mickey and the Gang!  Your arrival is at the beginning of December; in my past experience, I have found this a great time to visit, as the theme parks and resorts are decorated for the holidays, but the crowds aren't nearly as busy as the last two weeks in December.  Be prepared to experience more crowds near the end of your vacation, but please don't worry, even with the crowds, Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays is simply breathtaking!

To get a better picture of the holiday crowds, I like using the unofficial website touringplans.com.  This website provides guests with crowd estimates and offers in site on the best theme parks to visit daily based on crowd levels.

I hope that helps Jennifer Rose.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your 2014 Holiday Celebration.  I would be happy to help.
