Every year disney world has a new theme. I was wondering what this years theme was, and where I would look to find it so I can find it in 2011?

Hi, Amber!  This year's theme is a continuation of the What Will You Celebrate theme - and this year, we are celebrating volunteers!  If you go to the home page at www.disneyworld.com you will see an envelope pop up on the right side of your page with information about the Give a Day, Get a Disney Day promotion.  The theme this year encourages you to donate your time within your community, and you may qualify for a free one day pass to a Walt Disney World theme park.

The site will take you to a list of volunteer opportunities in your area that qualify for the free Disney day promotion.  Some of the activities allow you to have your children participate, or you can bring a group of friends.  The volunteer activities range from things like hospice volunteer to reading books for children in special needs schools.  There are opportunities working with animals, the elderly, at places like Ronald McDonald house - there is something for everyone to do to help out in their communities!

We don't know yet about what theme 2011 will bring.  They usually make the announcement sometime in the fall.

    Happy planning!
