Every visit we like to stay at a different WDW resort. Staying at PO Riverside for the 1st time in December. Does POR have it's own shuttle bus to and from the parks or does it share it with PO French Quarter?

    Hi, Erica!

My family stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside just last year for the first time. The boys loved the pool, and I found the southern theming absolutely charming! We stayed in a preferred room which was just a walk across the parking lot to the closest bus stop. There are several different bus stops at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and you do stop at all of them when going to the parks and when coming 'home'. For the most part, we only went to those stops. However, if the bus was somewhat empty we did go to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter a couple times during our week stay. It totally depends on the busing needs at the time.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Erica!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
