Hi Sonia!
If all the moms on the panel were able to chime in to answer your question, we might just all have different favorite restaurants at Disney Springs. With all the new dining venues added to the Disney Springs area in the past few years, there are so many choices - certainly something to please every palate!
For me, personally, it doesn't get any better than
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. With a menu full of comfort foods, and an atmosphere like a cozy Florida cottage, it's quickly become my "must-do" dining experience at Disney Springs. Some of my favorites from the menu include: Church Lady Deviled Eggs (trust me), Addie Mae's Chicken and Dumpling Soup, and don't even get me started on the Fried Chicken and Doughnuts. I'm getting hungry just writing this! I may head over to My Disney Experience and make an Advance Dining Reservation for my next Walt Disney World vacation right now.
For the adults in your party, Homecomin' features a large adult beverage menu of Crafty Moonshine and Resort Cocktails, and also several varieties of moonshine on tap. For a new twist on a old favorite, try the Muleshine - their delicious version of a Moscow Mule! Other guest favorites are the Cherry Gin Fizz and the Fig and Berries.
I've also got to give props to another fairly new venue -
Paddlefish. With a creatively awesome seafood menu (the Tableside Lobster Guacamole is TO DIE FOR), it's an awesome choice for dinner at Disney Springs. Their Bloody Mary is like a meal in itself, garnished with King crab, jumbo shrimp and candied bacon - YUM.
I hope you'll try something new next time you visit Disney Springs - you might just find a new favorite for yourself! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel - have a magical day! - Diane W.
