Hi Amanda!
We love receiving questions from you! We are honored to have the opportunity to help you plan your upcoming Disney Cruise and are always excited to see familiar and friendly names, like yours, sail back with more questions! Plus, you are asking about one of my favorite activities onboard: eating! Haha! There are multiple options for lunch and breakfast during a Disney Cruise and my family enjoys mixing it up and trying each dining option available.
If you dine in
Cabanas for the breakfast or lunch buffet, it is open seating so you'll go ahead and choose your seat. There is ample seating both inside and outside! If you want to dine at Cabanas instead of your assigned Main Dining restaurant within the
rotational dining schedule for dinner, you will approach a podium and a Cast Member will ask for your stateroom number and then seat you. It's similar to when you dine at a restaurant near your home and are seated by a host/hostess. The same will be true for the Main Dining restaurants open for breakfast and lunch; you will not automatically go to your assigned table, you will be seated by a Cast Member, instead.
Your Personal Navigator newsletter and Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have the list of restaurants open (as well as their hours of operation) for breakfast, lunch, dinner and "late night snacks". I also want to add that
Room Service is available 24/7, too!
Amanda, we hope to see you sailing back with more excellent questions before your voyage to paradise! You are going to be surrounded by excellent service and phenomenally yummy food during every meal of your cruise!
Beth
