    Hi Carole,

WOW, how exciting!  Disney World will hold extra special memories for you and your hopefully soon-to-be fiance.

The most romantic restaurant would have to be Victoria and Alberts.  However, it's also the most expensive and may not necessarily be within the budget of a young couple.  Although, for a special occasion it may well be worth it to splurge a little.

Some other suggestions that are quite nice are California Grill in the Contemporary.  If you plan it just right you can dine during Wishes at the Magic Kingdom for a spectacular view of the fireworks.

Jiko at Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere.

Chef's de France in Epcot is also quite elegant.  You won't even realize that you're dining inside a theme park.

Honestly, it won't matter where you choose to make reservations.  If he pops the question among a million kids at Chef Mickey's I'm sure that would quickly become the most romantic restaurant ever!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
