Hello Heather! Welcome to planDisney, where it will be my pleasure to try to shed some light on this pre-vacation dilemma for you.
First off, I would like to let you know that you should have no trouble claiming your
Theme Park Tickets without your father's ID! You will only need to show the photo ID of the person who purchased the Tickets and the Credit Card used to purchase these. You may claim your
Admission Cards from a Ticket Window outside one of the Disney Theme Parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs prior to entering the
Theme Parks. As long as the Park Tickets you’ve purchased are not
Florida resident tickets, only the Guest who made the Ticket purchase must show ID.
I hope this brings you some relief and allows you to take a nice deep breath knowing that your dad is safe to go on vacation with you! Speaking of safety, make sure that you review the
Experience Updates pages to learn all about the new policies in place to protect everyone's health and safety while visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Did you know that you use your purchase reservation numbers to link your Theme Park Tickets onto your
My Disney Experience account? As long as all members traveling are found within your Friends & Family list, you will be able to make plans for them all! This way, you can make
Park Pass Reservations and secure your Theme Parks of choice in advance of your vacation! If you have
MagicBands linked to your account (or
order them in advance of your trip via your account), you will be able to bypass the Ticket Window and use your MagicBands for direct admission into the Theme Parks, provided you have a Park Pass Reservation for each day you wish to visit.
Heather, I hope that this information helps you continue to make magical plans for yourself and your loved ones! Here at planDisney, we love to help with any step of your planning journey, so do not hesitate to come back and see us again soon with any questions or topics you have in mind!
See ya real soon!
