Ahoy Linda!
Thank you for stopping by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family and I just returned from a voyage aboard the Disney Dream where we stayed in a Concierge-level stateroom. We've experienced every stateroom category and have found that each one has its own unique features we love. With that being said, if you're able to book a Concierge-level stateroom, I wouldn't pass it up!
There are many "extras" that come along with being a Concierge Guest. Your advance booking window, which is when you can book activities onboard as well as excursions, opens 120 days prior to your sail date. However, at 125 days prior, you're able to contact the Concierge Team and notify them of any activities you're interested in and they will schedule them for you once your 120-day booking window opens! (Requests are processed at a first-come, first-served basis.) Once you arrive at the port terminal, you'll have priority check-in as well as a private waiting area for Concierge Guests only. Once onboard, you'll be spoiled with exceptional service from the Concierge Team who are there to answer any questions or assist you with any special requests you might have during your cruise. Throughout the cruise, the Concierge Team will often host fun special events and character meet-and-greets for Concierge Guests, only. One of my family's favorite reasons to sail as Concierge Guests is having access to the Concierge Lounge. There, you'll be able to grab snacks and drinks throughout the day. A Concierge Lounge was recently added to both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder so all four of the majestic ships now have one!
I hope I was able to give you some guidance on whether or not booking a Concierge-level stateroom is worth the price. If you have any future questions, please visit us again!
