EPCOT-Norway-Frozen Ever After states Mobility Access:Transfer Device available. Is it a lift like used in swimming pools? Could my husband transfer from his w/c to the device and then lowered into the Viking ship? Hopeful no more questions.

    Welcome back, Cynthia!

I had the opportunity to experience Frozen Ever After for the first time a few weeks ago. It is such a fun attraction. I did a little more research about the accessibility for this attraction, as I have yet to ride it with my son who uses a wheelchair/stroller. It is my understanding that the boats do not permit Guests to stay in their wheelchair to nor is a lift device used to assist Guests into the vessel. Therefore, Guests must be able to transfer from an ECV or wheelchair to the attraction vehicle.

I wish I had better news for you, Cynthia. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
