Are there ever special offers for families of more than four? We are a family of 6, and can't seem to find any deals or discounts. Kids ages range from 1 - 7 years old.

    Hi Jill,

Yes, of course there are discounts for families of all sizes at Walt Disney World.  My sister has a family of five so she likes to stay at one bedroom villas in Disney Vacation Club-owned properties.  For instance, the one bedroom villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort accommodate five guests and offer a full kitchen and private laundry facilities.  (This room would be suitable for your family of six since your youngest is only one-year-old).  I have seen many promotions on these rooms throughout the year.  As a family of six, you may want to look into discounted two bedroom villas, family suites, or two adjacent rooms at any Disney resort.  Although many promotions are priced for families of four, you can always call the Walt Disney Travel Office at (407) 939-4990 and ask them to put together a quote for the number of people in your family.

The release of Disney room-only or vacation package promotions is not predictable.  Therefore, my best advice to you is to watch the Special Offers page closely on the Walt Disney World website.  You may also want to enlist the help of a Disney-savvy travel agent to help you find an offer that works for your family.

I'lll keep my fingers crossed that your family of six will be off on a magical Disney vacation very soon!

Best wishes and thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel.
