Hello Sarah! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Whenever my family visits our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Pool or Water Park, we head directly to the life vests to ensure that we get the right size for our little swimmers.
Having recently stayed at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, I can confirm that all 3 of the pools have Complimentary Life Vests for Guests nearby. Also, in my experience over many Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I have never had difficulty securing a life vest for a swim. My family does generally travel to Walt Disney World Resort during off peak times, however.
The Bowling Pool and Computer Pool at Disney's Pop Century are generally less busy and always had multiple life vests available. If you get to the Hippy Dippy Pool (Main Pool) and cannot find one, I recommend inquiring with Guest Services if you may borrow one from on of the other pools.
If you find yourself without a life vest at a
Walt Disney World Resort Water Park, simply inform a Cast Member and I'm sure they will remedy the situation to the best of their ability.
Having said all that, bringing your own life vest (while cumbersome) is the best way to ensure that you get a well-fitted life vest that is perfectly suited for your little swimmer. If it makes your little one(or you) more comfortable and you have the luggage space, you may wish to bring your own life vest (we bring inflatable arm bands which float and take up little space).
Be sure to check out
Tike's Peak over at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park with your little swimmers. It's a pint-sized version of a larger Water Park designed just for kids.
Just Keep Swimming!
