Do they ever release additional tickets for the Special Ticketed Events?

Hey Howdy Hey Traci and welcome back to planDisney!

I bet you are getting super excited about your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort just days away! Thank you so much for stopping back with your question on Special Event Tickets. I will be happy to try and give you a little more information.

Many Special Events take place throughout Walt Disney World throughout the year. Disney After Hours Events in the parks may be one of them happening during your stay in March. In many cases, once Disney does officially release the dates and ticket availability for these events, the number of tickets allocated is fairly stable. If a particular night sells out very quickly, Disney has been known to bump up the number of tickets and availability from time to time so a previously "sold out" date might have additional tickets released. It never hurts to continue to check availability online or through your My Disney Experience app to see if there is any extra availability. You might even want to stop at a ticket window or the front desk if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and ask a Cast Member about availability for an event you might want to attend. You never know what kind of Magic might happen!

If you are unable to get the tickets you are looking for and find yourself in a park that might be closing early that evening, not to worry Traci, you have a grand opportunity ahead of you! If you are staying onsite, exploring and enjoying your home resort is always a great way to spend your time as all resorts should have at least 1 day dedicated to enjoying all the amenities. Your other option would be resort hopping. No matter the park you are in, I would plan to take some time and visit the resorts close to the parks. Enjoy taking a relaxing trip on the Walt Disney World Monorail and experience the resorts around the Magic Kingdom. Or you can take the Disney Skyliner or a short walk to visit Disney's Boardwalk if you are finished early at EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios. Walking around each resort, enjoying some of the food and drinks available and doing some shopping is a great way to spend an evening. Just be aware that Disney Resort Transportation stops operations for the day around an hour after the Special Event or when the parks officially close, so just make sure you plan accordingly!

I hope you have a Magical experience on your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
