Hi Rebecca, welcome back to planDisney!
Pumpkins have arrived on Main Street, U.S.A., in preparation for the first
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on August 11. Those Magic Kingdom Park pumpkins will be replaced by evergreen and ornaments in early November before the first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on November 9. No one does back-to-back seasons of celebration like Walt Disney World Resort!
Your mid-November arrival tells me you might be inquiring about modifying the date of your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or
Disney Jollywood Nights ticket. Special event tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable, though I have Cast Member confirmation that a date change is possible as long as the new party date is available. A date change to a special event ticket requires Cast Member pixie dust, which is available by calling 407-560-CHAT (2428) between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST each day. Cast Member assistance is also available in person at a theme park ticket window or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Kindly note you'll be responsible for the price difference, if applicable.
My favorite thing about special event tickets is they allow you to enjoy some pre-party time in the theme park. Last year I entered Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which officially starts at 7:00 p.m. I worked up an appetite for hot cocoa and cookies by taking advantage of pre-dark photo ops and experiencing attractions that would not be open during the party (Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, etc).
I hope you find a way to fit some
holiday magic into your calendar, Rebecca. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
