Hi there! I have only ever planned my trips with a 5-day Hopper pass BUT this is the first time going with both of my children ( 4 and 2). Would the new 4-park, one park a day pass be a better option? Or is park hopper still the way to go with kids?

Howdy Kristin!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for your upcoming trip!  I remember my first trip with both of my kids, it was a trip I will never forget!  I know you are going to make unforgettable memories to last a lifetime!

When my husband and I went to Walt Disney World as a couple we would always get the Park Hopper ticket.  After having two kids we began vacationing a little differently.  Every family vacations differently and all kids have different needs.  For our family, we found that enjoying one park per day was best for our kiddos and also best for us.  When our kids were young we would open the park, take some down time during the day, and then for the rest of the day we would go at a pace that worked for everyone.  This way, you can factor in those much needed naps and find time to enjoy a Dole Whip and relax.  I know that every family is different and the amount of down time with little ones varies from family to family.  If your kiddos require those naps and time to recharge then the one day ticket would be ideal, in my opinion but if they love to go and power nap then the Park Hopper ticket might be the best option for your family.  I hope this helps with your decision.

Whatever you choose, your vacation will be so memorable!  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel then I highly recommend adding Memory Maker to your reservation.  Since your kiddos are so young, you will definitely want to capture all those little smiles and expressions in as many photos as possible!  Memory Maker allows you to capture an unlimited amount of photos at one price.  The best part about it is that everyone is in the photo!

Your vacation will be here before you know it, Kristin.  To stay up-to-date with all of the new things happening in 2020, check out the Disney Parks Blog.  If you have any more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
