Hi Joann,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question.
Disney After Hours is on my Walt Disney World bucket list for sure – my brother’s family attended recently, and they just loved the low crowds and abundant treats!
Joann, I #resEARched past Disney After Hours dates, and it doesn’t look like the event has been historically held in October. I reached out to a Cast Member, who told me that they don’t have news of any October 2018 dates at this time. However, he asked me to encourage you to keep an eye on the website and the
Disney Parks Blog in case some calendar pixie dust is announced.
If you’re looking to experience Magic Kingdom Park in a new way, might I suggest one of the many
Special Events and Tours offered? A few years ago, my family had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day with a Private VIP Tour Guide, and it was one of the most magical days of our lives. Our Tour Guide was absolutely wonderful, and she shared great stories and insider tips in addition to giving us incredible access to our very favorite Disney attractions, characters, and experiences. The Private VIP Tours are a major splurge, but there are tours and experiences to suit a variety of interests and budgets. Don’t forget about the fantastic
Autumn offerings at Walt Disney World, including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and the all-new Toy Story Land! With so many ways to fall into magic, I know you are going to have the
best time.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
