Ever notice a trend in highest people volume for the buses going from WDW back to the cruise ship? Traveling with a 5 and 2 year old and want to make sure we get seats on the bus we wait for and don't have to wait for another one to come the next hour

    Ahoy, Cindy!

Ground transfers to Port Canaveral can be purchased by guests who are staying at the Walt Disney World Resort prior to their Disney Cruise. When you book transfers through Disney Cruise Line (by calling 1-800-951-3532), you'll have guaranteed seats on a specific motorcoach leaving from your resort the morning of your cruise.

When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort before your cruise, you'll receive a letter in your room the night before your sail date. The letter will give you all the details you'll need regarding luggage pickup and transportation to the port. You'll be provided special luggage tags, and the Bell Services Team will come to your resort room to pick up your bags. Departure times for the DCL motorcoaches will vary, depending on the number of cruisers leaving from each resort. Your letter will give you an assigned bus pickup time, and a designated meeting place at your resort.

On the morning of your cruise, when you arrive at your meeting spot, there will be representatives from Disney Cruise Line to greet you and check your name off the list. You'll need to provide a valid I.D. to check in, then you'll soon be on your way! You can expect to possibly make a few stops to pick up guests from other resorts. No worries, the stops are quick and organized because everyone is eager to set sail!

Rest assured, if you've made ground transfer reservations, you'll have guaranteed seats on the Disney Cruise Line motorcoach. I hope this helps ease your mind about your transportation to the port!
