Have you ever heard of an instance where Disney has given a family free dining on a blackout week for a special circumstance?

    Hi Wade,

Unless a family won a dining inclusive trip through a contest or promotion, I can't really imagine a circumstance under which guests would be given free dining during a blackout period.  Holidays and peak periods are typically excluded from free dining promotions for obvious reasons.  These are high traffic times when Disney has no need to offer incentives for guests to enter the parks or occupy resort rooms.  While anything is possible at a place as magical as Walt Disney World, I wouldn't count on a free dining offer during upcoming blackout periods.

Thanks for a fascinating question!  It really got me thinking.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
