Do you ever see characters at fort wilderness campgrounds?

Howdy Liz and welcome back to planDisney!  It's so great to see you here once again.

My whole family are such huge fans of staying within the rustic home-away-from-home-sweet-home Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  We absolutely love everything about The Fort, from its gentle pace of life, natural surroundings, and best of all, its relatively close proximity to the enchantment of the Magic Kingdom Park which is only a short ferry boat ride away across Bay Lake.

In my own experience of staying multiple times over the yEARS at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, I have not personally seen any Characters moseying around the Resort greeting Guests.  However, I have enjoyed a rootin' tootin' time at Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long which at present (as I type!), is still temporarily unavailable as we continue Returning to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World Resort

I have some wonderful news to share with you Liz, in that the Trail's End Restaurant at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is all set to welcome Guests back on July 17th, 2021!  The Trail's End is one of my must-do dining spots for either a bounteous breakfast or a hearty dinner which are both conveniently served family-style.

Liz, if you should have any further enquiries regarding an upcoming vacation within the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to ask me another question!  I'm always happy to help.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
