What events are planned for adults in April

Hi Gregory! Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you have an exciting trip to Walt Disney World Resort coming up. Let's get to your question!

I absolutely love an adults-only trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's truly one of the best ways to experience the magic. I recently returned from an adult trip myself and have another planned for my birthday, so I'm excited to share some of my must-dos for an unforgettable visit. One experience you should definitely consider is Sangria University. Guests aged 21 and over can enjoy a delightful session with professionals, exploring the history of sangria and sampling four different sangria recipes at Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. You'll even have the chance to craft your very own glass of sangria! I have this on my own itinerary and can't wait to try it out.

EPCOT is home to one of my favorite lounges. GEO-82, located behind Spaceship Earth. This adults-only lounge offers a luxurious experience. I absolutely loved the Truffled Ahi Tuna and the Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau; both were outstanding. My favorite drink was the Peach Shrub Whisky Smash; it was so delicious, I had to order a second! The view is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is really something you have to experience for yourself.  GEO-82 also offers a special GEO-82 Fireworks Experience that I have to mention. Both the lounge and the fireworks experience book up quickly, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as your booking window opens.

Speaking of EPCOT, don't forget to save some room for the International Flower & Garden Festival. There are so many unique beverages and foods to sample around the World Showcase. I recommend making a list of the items you want to try ahead of time so you don't get overwhelmed by all the options.

There are also Disney After Hours events, where select theme parks stay open exclusively for specially ticketed Guests. I recently enjoyed this at EPCOT. It's so much fun to experience your favorite park at night! The lower crowds, fantastic DJ, and complimentary ice cream, popcorn, and select bottled beverages made it a night to remember. We even rode Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind nine times in a row!

I can't forget to mention the Fireworks Cruises. This enchanting extra comes with your very own private watercraft, located at one of the Walt Disney World marinas, where you can marvel at one of the spectacular nighttime shows. The cruise also includes assorted snacks and soft drinks for your enjoyment.

As you can see, Gregory, there's really so much for adults to experience! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to return. We’re always ready to help make your visit magical.

    Your personal planning companion,

    Michelle
