Hi Angela,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The 2015 information for 4th of July at Walt Disney World Resort has not yet been released. In the past, there have been special fireworks displays at Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Epcot has had Disney characters dressed in patriotic costumes near the American Adventure in World Showcase as well as "Voices of Liberty 4th of July concert" at various times throughout the day. Disney's Hollywood Studios has also hosted a "Rockin' 4th of July Celebration!" and Mulch, Sweat, and Shears has performed. Be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog for new information and updates.
In my experience, the crowd levels at the end of May are significantly less than they are at the end of June. Most schools are out for summer vacation by the end of June, so there are more Guests visiting the Theme Parks during this time. The temperature is also much more comfortable in late May.
There is no place more magical to celebrate a birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort! Don't forget to pick up a complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' button from any Guest Services. Your little one will feel so special when they receive Happy Birthday wishes from Cast Members & Guests during your visit! You did not say if your little one was a boy or a girl so I will suggest booking an Advanced Dining Reservation at one of the Character Dining locations. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot would be perfect for a little Princess and Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios is a great place to meet pals from Disney Junior. I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions for the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
Susan
