Michael from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

When will 2025 events (festival of the arts, flower and garden festival, etc.) and 2025 closures be posted (refurbishment for skylines, rides, etc.)?

Welcome to planDisney, Michael! Nothing brings me greater joy than planning my next Walt Disney World vacay... apart from actually being on that Disney vacation, of course! I totally understand wanting to have ALL the information when making that booking!

Details about events like the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts or EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, as well as scheduled closures and refurbishments for attractions, are typically released closer to the actual year of the events.

For 2025 events and closures, you can expect Disney to announce specific dates a few months ahead, usually within the year before the events kick off. I don't have access to event timings for runDisney events in 2025 either, as again, they are typically announced closer to the event dates. They can involve the temporary closure of certain areas or attractions to accommodate the race routes. Long-running annual events like EPCOT festivals will typically run during a similar period each year, but no guarantees.

As you want to stay up-to-date with what's going on at Walt Disney World Resort, I can recommend a few options. First, you can visit Disney's official website. Second, it would be a good idea to follow them on social media (they're pretty fun to follow). Third, sign up for their emails to receive regular updates. Lastly, check out the Disney Parks Blog for even more information. You can rest assured that you'll receive ample notice to plan your visit and get your Mickey ears ready!

Michael, I hope this information helps today despite the lack of specific dates! If you've got any more Walt Disney World questions, please let us know at planDisney.

    Happy Disney planning,
    Louise
