Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you found us!
Celebrating a special birthday is always my jam and doing so at
Magic Kingdom Park is totally at the top of my list!
Starting the day off strong, consider an early special breakfast at
Cinderella's Royal Table or
The Crystal Palace. By starting your day with a delicious meal inside Magic Kingdom, you could be in the middle of the magic just as the park opens.
I recommend adding a
Lightning Lane Pass to your park plans, making your girlfriend feel like a VIP. Plan your day around her favorite characters or attractions, and be sure to commemorate all of those moments with the addition of
Memory Maker. Coordinate your attire and be sure to utilize those talented
Disney PhotoPass Service photographers as you pose in some of the most iconic locations in Magic Kingdom. Looking for something even more special? Consider booking a 20-minute private photo session with
Capture Your Moment: Magic Kingdom Park. She'll treasure those photos for years to come!
Let your girlfriend be pampered as the princess she is by booking lunch or dinner at
Be Our Guest Restaurant. Or, if you can bear to exit the park, just a short stroll or monorail stop away is dinner at the always spectacular
California Grill. When planning a special meal there, I always like to time it just right by getting a table right before sunset. What a glorious view!
If your birthday princess is a fireworks fan like I am, there's nothing quite like viewing Happily Ever After from a very VIP location. One favorite way to do so is by watercraft:
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise. Departing from the Boat Nook Marina at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll be steps away from that magical voyage as you wrap up your delicious dinner.
For me, though, nothing beats seeing that spectacular up close, and the most special way to do so is via
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party. Arrive with plenty of room to sample some gorgeous desserts along with, perhaps, her favorite bubbly beverage before being escorted to a stress-free viewing area right before the show begins. Too stuffed to enjoy those sweets so close to dinner? Try
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party instead. Either is the perfect way to end her special day in Magic Kingdom Park!
As you plan your girlfriend's birthday celebration, be sure to send more questions our way. We'd love to help make her 65th positively pixie-dusted!
