For some of our evening ADR's we would like to use Taxi's to get from resort to resort. We will be staying at BC, & wonder how available Taxi's are, & if the rates are more expensive on property? Do you think it is wise to use them? Thanks so muc

Sherisse, taxis are yet another option to getting around Walt Disney World.  You will find them readily available at your resort as I have used them there myself.  I do suggest that you call the valet stand about 5-10 minutes before you wish to depart and let them know what you need, how many persons riding, and where your destination is for that evening.  Our family often asks for a van taxi so we don't have to take two. This will help cut down the costs.

I have never found the rates higher on property but they are not cheap.  We use them more for the convenience and not having to deal with bus transfers especially if we have the grandchildren with us.  If you are planning on going to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios you can walk or take the water taxis. When traveling to the Magic Kingdom or Downtown Disney, the busses are your best option.  We often take a taxi to the Animal Kingdom as it drops you off right in front of the park versus the long walk from the bus depot.

When you have the dining reservations at other resorts not in your area I would suggest the taxi.  Knowing you can save time relaxing in your room versus taking a bus to only have to transfer to a resort bus again is worth the money if you can do it.  Enjoy your vacation!
