Hi Melissa!
We welcome you to the planDisney Clubhouse. “Come inside, it's fun inside!” We are thrilled to have you as part of our roll call with a great planning question. That means you have a Walt Disney World vacation on the horizon, so let’s get you ready.
Don’t be mad at me for saying this, but wagons and stroller wagons of any kind are not allowed in the Walt Disney World theme parks or water parks. The reasoning is to keep pathways clear of congestion and to improve overall traffic flow in the theme parks. I’m a “see it in writing” kind of gal, so click on the
Park Rules where Walt Disney World spells it out clearly. That always helps me make sense of something when I can read it for myself.
This rule also makes clear that wagons are not allowed regardless of their brand. This only makes it fair since some families like yours may own one brand (for example, the Wonderfold) while other Guests may have a different brand. Applying the rule uniformly and saying no wagons at all just levels the playing field. I hope this clarifies the issue as I wouldn’t want you to haul a wagon to the Most Magical Place on Earth only to be told you have to return it to your car or your Resort hotel!
Fortunately,
single or double strollers are available for rental and offered on a first come, first served basis. You may also bring personal strollers that fit within the posted size guidelines.
While I know this wasn’t exactly the answer you wished for, I do hope that it explains the reasoning. Have a fabulous vacation and enjoy every single moment of memory making with your family!
