Thanks for stopping by planDisney! It sounds like your family enjoys Character Dining as much as mine does. I like activities that maximize our time on vacation, and I love that my kids can say hello to some of their favorite Disney Characters while enjoying a tasty meal.
The "Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park" at
Plaza Inn is an adorable experience! Not only does it include a variety of delicious offerings at the all-you-care-to-enjoy spread, but it also gives Guests the opportunity to say hello to many beloved Disney Characters (and sometimes a villain or two!) throughout the meal.
I just checked the Plaza Inn page on the Disneyland website, and some reservations are currently available through November 27, 2026 (subject to change). I saw the most availability for parties of 2, with many days around Thanksgiving showing no availability for larger parties at this time. It is a popular time of year to visit the theme parks, and reservations often book up as soon as they are released. However, Guests often cancel their reservations as it gets closer to their vacation, so keep checking the
website at least a couple of times a day.
From what I have seen, Mickey Mouse and his pals are usually at Storytellers Cafe all day (regardless of the type of reservation booked). You are correct that booking for both Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast and Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party at
Storytellers Cafe begins on October 1, 2026. In my experience, it sometimes takes a little longer than normal for holiday offerings to be released, but I love that Disneyland announced the day the reservations would be available! Since these dining experiences were very popular last year, I imagine that they will book up quickly. Although I don't know the exact time they will be released, I suggest being ready to book by 6:00 AM Pacific Time.
