Hi Nancy, welcome to planDisney!
You'll be living out your very own fairy tale at Walt Disney World Resort next month.
The World's Most Magical Celebration continues through March 31, which means you'll get to experience the thrill of Disney Enchantment, the wonder of Harmonious, and the beauty of the Beacons of Magic. We also have the 50th Anniversary Celebration to thank for the Magical Beacon Cocktail and the EARidescent Sip-a-bration (non-alcoholic beverage) available at select table service restaurants, lounges, and pool bars throughout the four theme parks and resorts.
I'm delighted as Daisy to share that access to the
lounges at Disney Resorts Collection hotels is not limited to hotel Guests. A dining reservation is required if you wish to park a car in a Disney Resort hotel parking lot, but it is not required to sit back, relax, and enjoy a beverage while immersed in classic Disney storytelling. Let's talk about a few of my favorite places to do just that.
The
Steakhouse 71 Lounge at Disney's Contemporary Resort is steeped in Disney history and features classic cocktails that pay tribute to Walt and Lillian Disney and the 1970s. Disney's Contemporary Resort is a 10-minute walk from Magic Kingdom Park or one stop on the Resort Monorail. Steakhouse 71 is found on the first floor of this iconic resort. Take the escalator up to the fourth-floor viewing area for a special fireworks experience.
Dahlia Lounge in the Gran Destino Tower of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a rooftop lounge that boasts stunning architectural touches and breathtaking views of multiple theme parks. When timed right, you can catch views of Harmonious at EPCOT and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Using complimentary Disney transportation, you can catch a bus to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort from any theme park or Disney Springs.
Speaking of rooftop lounges, you can't beat the view from
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. Like most lounges, seating at this indoor bar and lounge area is available to Guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Disney's Riviera Resort can be accessed via the Disney Skyliner, which adds an element of fun to the adventure.
I wish I had space to share more of my favorite magical watering holes with you, Nancy. I did get input from my panelist pals recently about their
favorite cocktails on property, which seems relevant to our conversation. Here's my
direct line should any unanswered questions remain.
Plan magic; planDisney.
