Can an evc with a sun cover "roof" fit in a skyliner gondola?

Hi Jaynee! Welcome back to planDisney and get ready to take flight on your Magical vacation.

You will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during my absolute favorite special event, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. From the amazing topiary displays, to the outdoor kitchens and the entertaining Garden Rocks Concert series, it is a feast for the soul and stomach.

Enjoy the festival, then zip on through the International Gateway exit in World Showcase. Right outside the gate, you can take to the skies on the Disney Skyliner, for aerial views of various Walt Disney World Resort locations.  And rest assure, as I recently discovered on a vacation with my parents, the Disney Skyliner is ECV accessible. Gondolas are pulled offline where a friendly Cast Member will assist you in loading and unloading. You simply drive on in with no special ramps needed and your travel party will join you for flight. It is my understanding, you should be able to load with a sun cover.  If you have any questions, always ask a Cast Member at the loading area help.  Cast Members are easy to locate with their headsets.

In addition, if you are staying at Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will have direct access to the Disney Skyliner! You can take flight to Disney's Hollywood Studios and  EPCOT just steps from your resort room.

Enjoy the next couple of months planning your return to Walt Disney World Resort.

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Cindy
