If you are in an evc and need to transfer to a wheelchair for an attraction, are wheelchairs provided at the attraction?

    Hiya Jaynee,

Welcome back to planDisney! We love helping Guests like you have the trips of your dreams. It warms our hearts that you keep coming back to us to get answers to your planning questions. Let’s see how I can help you today.

At attractions where your brother will need to transfer from his ECV to a Wheelchair (such as Avatar Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash), the wheelchair will be provided for him for the transfer. For more information on which attractions allow your brother to remain in his ECV, transfer directly to ride vehicle from ECV, or be ambulatory, check out this super helpful web page. It will assist you in planning out your itinerary for the day and help keep you stress free.

I hope that you and your family enjoy your trip next month. Don’t forget that if you are renting an ECV from Walt Disney World Resort, they are first-come, first-serve, so you will want to get to the Theme Parks or Disney Springs early to get one. Also, Character Greetings have returned at Walt Disney World Resort, so be sure to give Mickey Mouse a hug or high-five from me.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
