What will establish residency for Disneyland’s reopening? We are a military family that moves quite frequently, however we reside in CA and have the utility bills as well as our governmental military ids to prove it. Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Erica!

Thanks for stopping by, we’re all EARs! As a military spouse myself, I understand moving around. We have been lucky to call so many different places “home”. No matter where we live, we always find a way back to either Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort. We love them both!

Disneyland Resort has not yet shared the form of proof of residency Guests will need to show when visiting. In the past, they have required Guests using the California resident ticket, to show a government-issued photo ID like a drivers license. My fellow panelist, Kristen, was also able to share information on visiting the parks as a military family while residing in California. I’m not sure if this process will remain similar or change, but this is how it has worked in the past.

Erica, I do recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information. This is where we will hEAR more information about what exactly Guests will need, in order to visit the Disneyland Resort. In the meantime, let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.

    Have a Magical Day!

One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for!
