Are essential oils allowed in the park?

    Hi Allyssa-Mae!

This is a great question! I reviewed the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and chatted with a Cast Member about your question. While there are no rules regarding essential oils, glass containers are prohibited. However, small containers, such as baby food jars, are excluded from the list of prohibited items so I believe you will be fine.

I use peppermint oil to calm my tummy following some attractions. I have had essential oils with me in the theme parks but they are always in tiny bottles.

Keep in mind that all bags are searched prior to entering the theme parks. It will be up to the discretion of security Cast Members whether or not your container is allowed in the theme park.

I'm so excited to see you are arriving at Walt Disney World Resort today! Thanks for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Have a magical vacation!
