Disney Cruise Line and coffee enthusiast, I can definitely relate to you wanting to know more about the coffee situation onboard the Disney Cruise Line ships! I also love a good espresso, especially in the early afternoon to bridge the gap between lunch and dinner. A Disney cruise is all about relaxing and enjoying the experience!
To answer your question, Jennifer, yes. Espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty coffees are an extra charge at
Cove Café, as well as at other select locations on the ship that serve specialty coffees. The price will vary depending on your hot beverage of choice, and please note that an 18% gratuity is applied to your purchase.
If you plan to purchase several of these specialty coffee beverages during your sailing, I strongly suggest picking up a Café Fanatic punch card! After purchasing five specialty coffees, you’ll get your next one free of charge. And the best part is that you can carry this card from sailing to sailing. So, if you don’t purchase five on this sailing, simply bring it with you the next time you sail with Disney Cruise Line and you can pick up right where you left off!
If you prefer, of course there are also several locations onboard where you can get complimentary coffee. One of my favorite things to do in the mornings is to have coffee
delivered right to our Stateroom door. Nothing beats sitting on the verandah, watching the waves, and enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee!
