Is the Espn zone still at Downtown Disney, if so where is it located by? We have some cowboy/redskin fans who want to watch the game in a sports atmosphere on Thanksgiving day.

    Hi Liz!

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question!
For some Thanksgiving Day football watching, there are two places you'll want to consider making plans for.

First, is The ESPN Club along Disney's BoardWalk Area. Here's where the real sports enthusiast will have a great time, surrounded by more than 100 video monitors with satellite feeds. Hilariously, there are even tv monitors in the bathroom - so your Cowboy/Redskin fans won't even need to miss a minute - literally! This would be my number one choice. It's a great place to spend the afternoon and evening with plenty of nightlife.

Another option to consider is the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill located within the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Both locations do accept the Disney Dining Plan, although neither restaurant takes Advance Dining Reservations. Be sure to arrive early!

If you'd like directions on how to get to either of these locations from where you'll be in the parks or resorts that day, or if you have additional questions or requests for recommendations, please feel free to write me back! I'd love to hear from you again Liz!

Wishing you a simply Magical Thanksgiving Holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort!
