Joseph from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If going to ESPN Wide Works of Sports and you take and Uber/Lyft, where does it drop you off? Does it by pass all the car traffic?

Hiya, Joseph, and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by for an assist from our team. I see that you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort just in time for the upcoming holiday weekend--so fun! We're all in this together, and like any good teammate, I'll have your back to track down the information you're looking for.

It's time to get'cha head in the game, Joseph--you'll be enjoying the ultimate sporting experience at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in just a few short days! The events calendar shows both basketball and soccer tournaments happening over Memorial Day weekend, so there will be plenty of athletes, coaches, and fans enjoying all that the complex has to offer. You'll find that the facilities are top-notch and there are some fun shops and excellent dining options. In particular, the food trucks offer some great variety!

I'm a big fan of using rideshare to navigate Walt Disney World Resort. It's a great way to travel between locations on property that don't have direct Disney transportation. There are usually plenty of available drivers, and the rates tend to be quite affordable. Since Disney buses don't run to the ESPN Complex, rideshare is an ideal option. When I was on dance mom duty for my daughter's Nationals at ESPN in February, we used Lyft and Uber on several occasions and it's a breeze!

The rideshare pick-up and drop-off spots at ESPN are both located near the AdventHealth Arena, which is the venue closest to the complex's entrance. Typically, Lyft or Uber drivers are directed to take Victory Way directly to this location, rather than taking the route used by Guests driving their vehicles that leads to the parking lots.

Joseph, I hope that your favorite team has a great experience at ESPN and that you can get out to enjoy the theme parks during your stay. Perhaps you can even cool off at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and reach out again anytime if I can help with any other questions you may have.

    Go Team!
