    Hi Erin, I am traveling w/ 3 girls: 6, 5 and 4. The days we arrive and leave (late check out), we will not have access to the parks. Can you suggest fun activities in Disney Springs or dining options in the resorts we could take advantage of on these days?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question. I also have three daughters! We love to spend a day outside of the theme parks when vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm happy to answer this great question!

    I definitely recommend a visit to Disney Springs. With so many unique dining options, boutique shops and an eclectic mix of entertainment, you will find that there's something for everyone at Disney Springs! My daughters love to dine at T-REX - it is a "must-do" on our trips! On a recent visit to Disney Springs, my family had a delicious lunch and had a great time bowling at Splittsville Luxury Lanes. We also love the variety of shops at Disney Springs, and no trip is complete without a stop at the gigantic World of Disney store! If you have a chocolate lover in the family, be sure to check out The Ganachery during your visit.

    When we are not visiting the theme parks, my family enjoys dining at some of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Two of our favorites are 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
