Hello Erin, I am also a mom from PA with 3 daughters (8,5 and 3). We are planning a trip in 2017. We are thinking of going in February. Do you know if this is a good time to go as far as crowd levels and weather? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Allison!

It's great to hear from another mom of three girls from Pennsylvania! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today. I'm happy to help with your question!

We've traveled to Walt Disney World Resort several times in February, and we have found the crowds to be light and the temperatures to be mild. It's a terrific time to travel to the most Magical Place on Earth! The crowds increase a bit around President's Day weekend and during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. In general, however, February is known for light crowds. In terms of weather, the average high temperature in February is in the low 70s while the average low temperature is in the low 50s. That said, Orlando weather in February can be quite variable. We've had some pretty chilly weather as well as summer-like temperatures from time to time in February, so you will want to check the forecast about a week before your trip to confirm.

I hope this helps answer your question, Allison. I'd love to help answer any other planning questions you have, so please stop back again soon!

Wishing you a vacation filled with many magical memories!
