    Hi Erin! Can you tell me the best way to get from the Polynesian to: DTD, DHS, AK and Wilderness Lodge (Mickey's Backyard BBQ)? I know the monorail runs to Epcot and MK, but I wasn't sure the best routes for the other places! Thanks so much!!!

    Transportation can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but in no time at all you will jumping on and off buses, monorails, and boats like a pro!  A great transportation resource is www.ourlaughingplace.com .  They have a "transportation wizard" at the top of their website that will help you get from point A to point B in a jiffy!



    From the Polynesian, you will catch a bus in the from of your resort to get to Downtown Disney, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.



    To get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, take monorail to the Magic Kingdom then transfer to the boat that will take you to Fort Wilderness (allow about 40 minutes for this trip.)



    If you ever have any questions, ask a Cast Member for directions and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.   Enjoy your stay at the beautiful Polynesian Resort!
