Hi Nicole!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Yes,
Epcot's nightly fireworks show that celebrates our great big blue planet and our unity with our fellow earthlings,
IllumiNations, is shown at 9:00 P.M., even on nights when Epcot is hosting
Evening Extra Magic Hours. This allows those guests who are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to still enjoy the show before ending their Disney Day.
I actually viewed IllumiNations on an Extra Magic Hour night earlier this week with some fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists. Once the show is over you will have about a good 90 minutes to experience your favorite attractions. Do keep in mind that FastPass+ Reservations are not up and running during Extra Magic Hours, so you will be utilizing those Standby lines. The wait times seem a little long at the start of Extra Magic Hours, but they do thin out as the night goes on. Extra Magic Hours are a great way to experience those attractions for which you could not reserve a
FastPass+ Reservation during your normal Disney Day.
Disney Transportation does still operate during Extra Magic Hours. The Monorail may end it's service half an hour after the park does finally close, but
Disney Resort Transportation Buses will continue to pick up for up to two hours after the parks closure.
I hope this helped, Nicole, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
