Is Epcot (WS) open early (i.e. 9am) during Flower and Garden? I know WS opens at 11am usually, but when you click on the F&G event, it lists it as occurring from 9am-9pm. Just curious for planning purposes! Would be good to get over there early! TY!

Hi, Jordan! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's see what's blooming at Epcot this spring!

I'm happy to say that spring has definitely arrived here in the Sunshine State! We've had a couple of cooler days recently, but the sun is back out, the temperatures are warming up, and the Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating with the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival!

And you've definitely got the right idea in planning to get there early, Jordan. I love to soak in all of the beautiful colors and scents of this amazing Festival. Here's what you need to know:

Many of the exhibits and features of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival take place in Future World, which usually opens at 9 a.m. You'll be able to enjoy Festival activities like walking through the butterfly habitat, checking out the topiaries, letting the kids run in the play zone, shopping for Festival merchandise, and lots, lots more right from the time the Theme Park opens.

If you plan to sample some of the fare at the Outdoor Kitchens, they are scheduled to open at 11 a.m.

Jordan, I hope this helps you plan a spectacular spring day at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, please hop on over and see us again!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
