Tell the guards to open up the gates so that we can welcome you, Kevin, to planDisney!
It’s going to be a magical trip and for the
first time in forever, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the magical offerings at EPCOT, including
Flower & Garden. This festival is officially in bloom with flowers, delicious flavors, and so much fun for your family to enjoy. In between your Lightning Lane bookings, I recommend enjoying all the things this festival offers, especially the beautiful
topiaries. The topiaries are my daughter’s favorite part. Those and the scavenger hunts. This year it’s called Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and it’s truly a great time that challenges you to keep your eyes open and on the hunt!
For your
Lightning Lane options, you will be able to select either Frozen Ever After or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as one of your beginning 3 options. After you have used the one you have selected, you will be able to choose and book the other one, subject to availability. I recommend arriving early and heading to one of those attractions first, that way you don’t have to worry about your second option still being available at a later time. This is what my family and I usually do. Since we usually stay at a
Skyliner resort, we will head to Remy’s first and book Frozen for a later time. That way we are able to experience both attractions without worrying about later Lightning Lane availability.
While exploring EPCOT, I also recommend taking a walk through
Journey of Water. If you’re traveling with little ones, you might want to bring an extra outfit for them because the water tends to play. My family and I spent a bit of time exploring and playing along with the water during our last visit. Even my husband is making it known that we will be heading back there during our next visit.
Kevin, I hope my recommendation helps you plan for your day at
EPCOT. If there’s anything else you need, don’t hesitate to ask!
Warm hugs,
Shantel
