Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Kirk!
Thank you for taking the time to send us your very first question. We are honored to assist you as you plan magical memories for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
I am happy to hear you are considering visiting my favorite theme park.
EPCOT holds a special place in my heart, and I usually plan at least two days to enjoy the park and explore attractions, dining locations, entertainment, shopping, and character experiences. If you are planning a Disney vacation for early 2024, be sure to visit EPCOT between January 12 and February 19 to celebrate art and cuisine during
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
Theme Park Reservations are required to enter the theme parks through January 8, 2024. If you are visiting before or on January 8, you must make a park reservation for EPCOT, so I recommend checking
Theme Park Reservation Availability to plan accordingly. If EPCOT is not available for reservations on the date of your visit, I suggest modifying your travel plans, if possible, or selecting a different park. You can also purchase admission with
Park Hopper Option, enter the park you have a reservation for, and head to EPCOT at 2:00 PM when Park Hopper hours start. Please note, however, that the ability to enter the park will be subject to capacity limitations. If you are visiting on or after January 9, Theme Park Reservations will no longer be required.
If you are planning to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but reservations are not available during the dates of your visit, you are still welcome to purchase theme park tickets. Again, Theme Park Reservations are required to enter a park through January 8, 2024, so remember to plan accordingly, make reservations soon after purchasing admission, and link tickets to your Disney account.
I hope this information is helpful, Kirk. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon,
Thiana
