    Going to be at Epcot Thanksgiving day. What is the best way to get to Trails End restaurant. I know there is a bus that goes to Fort Wilderness but I think Trails End is all the way at the back of the resort near the water.

    Hi Dana!

    It sounds like you will be enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation at Walt Disney World. For years this time of year has been my family's favorite time for a vacation. The weather is typically awesome and you get a taste of the holiday season that week to get you into the spirit.

    The easiest way to reach Fort Wilderness Resort from Epcot is indeed taking the bus there. This is one of the largest resorts on property and everything is spread out. But because of that they offer a very good internal bus system that guests can take to get anywhere they want. Once you arrive at Fort Wilderness you will be arriving at their main bus depot at the front of the resort. You will simply need to get off the bus and step onto the internal bus at the same location. You will see the purple, yellow, and orange with the orange being the most direct. These buses will take you to the other end where you will find Trails End.

    Once you are finished with your feasting at this great restaurant and need to get back to your resort the best option is to simply take the short walk to the marina and hop on the Magic Kingdom boat. This is a fun ride over the waters of Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon and will drop you off directly in front of the park. Then walk over to the bus area and find your resort bus to return home on.
