Hi! We will be at Epcot 12/21. We are staying OFF property. We want to rope drop guardians but have breakfast at Garden Grill at 10:05. Will we make it? What time should we arrive? What entrance? Is it likely LL will be an avail 3 days out? Thank you!!

Hi Kerri! Welcome back to planDisney!

I'm excited to hear about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! With the holiday season upon us, you will have plenty of festive activities to enjoy during your stay.

With EPCOT scheduled to open at 9 AM on December 21st, you may be cutting it close to get to a 10:05 AM dining reservation. Guests with access to Early Theme Park Entry will have a 30-minute head start to get in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There is a solid chance that the wait time may be a bit long once you make your way over there upon entry. Also, even without a wait, this attraction can take a bit of time to ride, since there are a few aspects to the experience before entering the ride vehicle. In my experience, it can take up to 30 minutes to ride the attraction once you make your way through the queue. Out of caution, I would probably head to other attractions to start your morning, including Soarin' Around the World and Living with the Land. These experiences are located in the same building as Garden Grill, so once you exit the ride, you can head upstairs to your dining reservation.

With Lightning Lane purchases being available 3 days before you arrive, you should have an opportunity to still purchase Lightning Lane Single Passes for this attraction. There will be limited availability since Guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel can begin booking them 7 days before their trip begins. Otherwise, you can still enter the standby queue on the day of your visit throughout the day. I suggest checking the wait time on the My Disney Experience App throughout the day to see when you want to head over to get in line. Wait times will fluctuate as the day progresses.

Kerri, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Stop back and see us any time at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
