How do I get to Epcot on the Skyliner from Hollywood studios

Hey there, Martha! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm always happy to chat about transportation in Walt Disney World, so let's get ready for take-off!

Martha, one of my favorite things about Disney World is how easy it is to get around. With Disney buses, boats, and even the monorail at my fingertips, transportation is almost as much fun as riding my favorite attraction. But I'll be honest with you: my favorite way to get around Disney World is the one that sends me soaring! Because the Disney Skyliner isn't just fun to ride - it makes traveling between parks a breeze!

When you're ready to leave your adoring fans behind at Disney's Hollywood Studios, exit the park and walk toward the Skyliner station. You'll find it wedged between the bus loop and the boat launch (and with all those colorful gondolas, it's pretty hard to miss!). You'll board your gondola here and enjoy a short flight over to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, where you'll disembark and transfer to a gondola bound for EPCOT. Just follow the signs to make sure you're headed in the right direction. Once you've made your transfer, sit back and relax for another quick flight. You'll arrive at EPCOT's International Gateway entrance in just about 15 minutes!

Martha, I'm a HUGE fan of the Skyliner, so this is always my favorite mode of transportation when I'm park-hopping between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. But I'd also like to mention two alternative ways to make this trip: the walking path and Disney's Friendship boats.

To take a boat to EPCOT, head toward the boat launch when you exit the park (just to the left of the Skyliner station). Here you can board a boat that will take you on a scenic ride down the canal and drop you off outside International Gateway. If you don't mind a few steps, you can also walk this same route via the walking path that runs alongside the canal. Whenever I go this route, I like to make a quick detour at The Cake Bake Shop® Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney's BoardWalk Inn. I promise, the Millionaire Cake is worth stopping for!

I hope this information is helpful, Martha, and that your stay in The Most Magical Place on Earth is absolutely brimming with pixie dust. If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Magical travels,

    Allison
